African National Congress ANC National Executive Committee NEC member and former party spokesperson Pule Mabe and his six co-accused have been released on R30 000 bail each.
Mabe and his wife Alice appeared with five other suspects in the Palm Ridge Specialised Commercial Crimes Court, east of Johannesburg.
They are facing fraud and corruption charges amounting to R36 million .
This relates to the 2016 tender worth R27 million issued by the Gauteng Agricultural Department to his company Enviro-Mobi.
He is also accused of demanding a further R9 million for safekeeping, storage, and ancillary services relating to the goods.
