Luis Nani Hails Mohamed Salah As 'incredible'

Despite the historical rivalry between the clubs, former Red Devils winger Nani had nothing but praise for Liverpools Mohamed Salah.

Former Portugal and Manchester United winger Luis Nani appeared as a guest on Rio Ferdinands podcast, Rio Ferdinand Presents . Speaking with the Manchester United legend, Nani broke down what makes Salah so effective on the pitch and why hes earned global respect.

"He's an incredible player and he knows what he's doing, when he steps on the field, he knows exactly what his strengths are, and he always plays to them." said Nani.

The Portuguese international highlighted the Egyptians pace, sharp finishing, and ability to consistently be in the right place at the right time as key aspects of his game.

"His speed and the way he finishes around the box make him so dangerous. That's why he's always there, either scoring or assisting," Nani explained. "You don't see him dropping deep to build possession. He positions himself to receive the ball, beat his man, and go for goal. Every time he runs with the ball, it feels like a chance."

While Liverpool and Manchester United have long battled for supremacy in English football, Luis Nani's comments regarding Mo Salah serve as a reminder that when it comes to talent, respect is warranted, even from the other side of the rivalry.
