Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthaus believes that Omar Marmoush should be in the conversation for the world's best player . Speaking to Sky Sports, Matthaus praised the Egyptian forward's impact at Eintracht Frankfurt, saying, "Frankfurt has been the surprise of the league, and the main reason for that is Omar Marmoush. Matthaus continued, "If we were to choose the world's best player every three months, Marmoush should be in contention for the award. He's currently playing at an elite level, not only in the Bundesliga but also on the international stage." The World Cup and Ballon Dor winner added, "Marmoush, like Harry Kane at Bayern Munich, benefits greatly from his teammates. The team supports him, sets him up, and he scores plenty of goals. Frankfurt is playing fantastic football, and they have a real chance of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League next season." Frankfurt currently sit third in the Bundesliga with 20 points from 10 games, just one point behind second-placed Red Bull Leipzig and six points adrift of league leaders Bayern Munich. Their next match is scheduled against Werder Bremen on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 730 PM CET. The post Lothar Matthaus Marmoush is Among the World's Best appeared first on KingFut .
