As Cape Town gears up for an epic clash between the Springboks and All Blacks on Saturday, the DHL Stadium shows off its green-and-gold fever loud and proud, reports Cape {town} Etc .
A brightly lit South African flag is being projected on the DHL Stadium tonight - for extra gees as Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis , who took to social media to share the stunning view, said.
The six-metre by six-metre flag stands at eight metres high and is being projected near the stadiums main entrance facing Signal Hill.
According to the City of Cape Town, the flag is both a gesture of support for our mighty back-to-back Rugby World Cup Champions, the Springboks, as well as a signal to say that its all systems go for the DHL Stadium and the City ahead of the monumental test match.
Cape Town is a city united in pride and excitement as we prepare to host our world champion Bokke for this historic clash against our greatest rivals, says the City.
