longwe twalas bail application in alleged theft case postponed

The case against Longwe Twala , the son of the music Legend and producer, Sello Chicco Twala has been postponed to next week Monday by Randburg Magistrates Court.

Chicco opened a case of robbery and theft against both of his sons Sello and Longwe at the Douglasdale police station last week. However, Sello was released on bail due to insufficient evidence.

Chicco accused his sons of stealing his studio equipment worth more than R200 000 from his home in Fourways in Johannesburg, while he was out of the country.

The case was postponed to the 12th of September to allow investigators to verify his residential address and confirm his legal aid representation.

Magistrate Abdul Khan postponed the case until Monday for a formal bail application because the accuseds legal attorney was not present in court.
