The case against Longwe Twala , son of renowned songwriter and producer Chicco Twala, is set to continue today in the Randburg Magistrates Court.
The matter was postponed last week to allow the investigating officer to verify Longwe's personal details. He was re-arrested last Tuesday after failing to appear in court on October 25, 2024, as required under his bail conditions.
Longwe is accused of breaking into his father's home and stealing studio equipment valued at over R200 000. Multi-award-winning producer Twala filed the case against both of his sons, citing the theft.
