longwe twala back in court for theft

The case against Longwe Twala, the son of music legend Sello Chicco Twala, is expected to resume at the Randburg Magistrates Court today.

Twala senior opened a case of robbery and theft against his sons Sello and Longwe at the Douglasdale police station earlier this month.

However, Sello was released due to insufficient evidence.

Chicco accused his sons of stealing his studio equipment worth more than R 400 000 from his home in Fourways in Johannesburg, while he was out of the country.

Magistrate Abdul Khan postponed the case last week Thursday to allow investigators to verify Longwes residential address and confirm his legal aid representation.
