A local photographer captured multiple South African Air Force (SAAF) fighter aircraft landing at Air Force Base Ysterplaat last night, on 16 July. Benjamin William Pearce captured 28 photos of the Saab JAS 39 Gripen aircraft, which has been described as a Light Single-Engine Supersonic Multi Role aircraft, according to a post made to his photography Facebook page .
Accompanying the post was a quote from Adolf Galland, regarding the aircraft and its purpose.
