Former Liverpool defender Glen Johnson believes that players such as Mohamed Salah should not be walking out as a free agent after Liverpool failed to agree a new contract ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
The Egyptian stars immediate future has been a major talking point in English football in the last couple of months and is expected to leave the club at the end of the current season.
According to Johnson, the 32-year-old will not be short of any suitors and that the Reds should have put themselves in a position to cash in on their talisman.
