Lions Ready To Snuff Our Dragons' Fire In Do-or-die Challenge Cup Clash

The Lions will enter last-chance saloon in the EPCR Challenge Cup with an extra spring in their step after the return to the starting line-up of centre Henco van Wyk and Bok flank Ruan Venter - two of their standout players, for tomorrows clash against the Dragons 5.15pm kickoff.

The prize on offer is a place in the round of 16.

The Joburg side lost 28-5 away to pool leaders Montpellier last weekend, their second defeat in three pool matches, yet miraculously remain in play-off contention on their return to Ellis Park.

They are fifth in their pool, level on five points with the Dragons yet one spot below them, and will be hoping to douse the Welsh sides fire with the return of some of their star performers, including Springbok scrumhalf Morne Krappies van den Berg.

He replaces last weeks captain Marius Louw while Tapiwa Mafura will take the place of youngster Kelly Mpeku on the wing.
