There are just five more days left of early voting in South Florida ahead of next Tuesday's General Election.
"I want to encourage our in person voters to get out as soon as possible because the longer you wait, the longer that the lines develop," Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections Christina White said.
White's recommendation to Miami-Dade voters is to check out the county's elections website.
"All 33 sites are listed there with the addresses," she said. "They're all open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., but there's also the wait times, and so you can maybe drive a few extra minutes, a few extra miles and go somewhere where there's little to no wait."
White says she's expects a similar voter turnout to previous presidential elections -- from 72-75 percent -- but she thinks we'll see more people voting in person as fewer people have been voting by mail. That's another reason to get your in person vote in early.
