Matric learners are set to start the 2024 National Senior Certificate examinations on Monday.

Over 94 000 full-time and 30 000 part- time learners are expected to sit for the examinations in Limpopo.

The province attained a 79 percent pass rate in 2023 and is targeting percent pass rate this year.

Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba has urged parents and guardians to support the learners during the examinations.

My best wishes to the class of 2024, those who will be sitting for their final exams, starting 21st October and ending November 28. To our churches, to liquor outlets and also event organisers, we kindly request that you avoid hosting events during this time. Let us also avoid playing loud music and allow our learners to write and prepare for their exams without disruption.
