Limpopo Man To Appear In Court For Stabbing Stepdaughter To Death

A 48-year-old man who allegedly stabbed his 14-year-old stepdaughter to death at ga-Thoka outside Mankweng in Limpopo is this morning expected to appear at the local magistrates court.

Rebotile Moloto was stabbed to death while walking to school on Friday morning.

Emergency personnel found her in a pool of blood and declared her dead at the scene.

Limpopo police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says the incident followed an altercation between the girls mother and the suspect the night before.

The emergency medical services personnel upon arrival, certified the 14-year-old dead. The police nabbed the suspect in Polokwane. Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspect had a domestic dispute with the girls mother the previous night, adds Ledwaba.
