Lewis Hamilton Unhurt After Ferrari Crash In Pre-season Testing

Lewis Hamilton was unharmed after he lost control of his Ferrari during the teams pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain on Wednesday.

Ferrari chose not to comment on the incident, which took place on Hamiltons second day of testing at the Spanish venue, where he is sharing the car with teammate Charles Leclerc.

The incident occurred as Ferrari aimed to integrate Hamilton into the team effectively ahead of the season opener at the Australian Grand Prix on March 14-16.

Ferrari views the crash as typical as Hamilton adjusts to the feel of an unfamiliar car after spending 12 years with Mercedes , particularly given the significant testing restrictions in F1.

Ferrari is operating with a limited testing program for the 2023 car, the most current model that Hamilton is eligible to drive.
