Lesufi Emphasizes Importance Of Improving Tourism In Gauteng

Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has emphasised the importance of repositioning the province as the preferred destination of choice.

Lesufi delivered opening remarks at the inaugural Public Works Infrastructure Summit underway in Sandton, Johannesburg, today.

It brings together 500 delegates from the public and private sectors under the theme, Turning South Africa into a construction site, growing the economy and creating jobs.

Lesufi says while they work to foster strategic partnerships, they will also focus on getting the basics right to attract investment.

To those that are willing to invest in Gauteng-if we cant do this no matter how hard we try to attract investment, were not going to succeed, says Lesufi.
