Internationally acclaimed novelist, actor, director, playwright and legendary anti-apartheid figurehead Athol Fugard passed away on Saturday, 8 March 2025, at the age of 92, reports Cape town Etc .
According to reports, Fugard died in his Stellenbosch home after a long battle against illness.
