Euro 2024 winner Aymeric Laporte is willing to give up the remaining contract to facilitate a move to Real Madrid, according to Arriyadiyah . The ex-Man City defender welcomed the idea of giving up the remaining value of his contract with Al-Nassr to return back to Europe as revealed by the report. Laporte is said to be a target for Real Madrid however, the European champions are only willing to approach the player if he is a free agent. In order to achieve that, Laporte will have to give up an estimate of 48 million, the remainder of his contract in Saudi Arabia, to facilitate the move. Yet Al-Nassrs management refuses to let the player go as a free agent and will only consider selling him so they can at least recoup some of the amount they paid to buy him from Manchester City last season. According to Spanish reports, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is keen on signing Laporte as he believes his side could do with more depth in the defence. Real Madrid already lost on Lenny Yoro to Manchester United and they do not want a repeat of the injury crisis that hit them last season. Laporte has just won the Euros with Spain, featuring in every game through the competitions, with the exception of the opener against Croatia.
