Land Reform Committee Meeting With Amazulu King Postponed
Parliaments Land Reform Committee members have expressed disappointment that their planned meeting with AmaZulu King MisuZulu kaZwelithini has been postponed.
The committee was meant to meet with MisuZulu this month, to discuss the fallout between him and the Ingonyama Trust Board.
Committee Chairperson Albert Mncwango says a decision was taken by the presiding officers of the National Assembly that the meeting not go ahead until President Cyril Ramaphosa had been informed about it.
Mncwango says, They felt strongly that the President needed to be informed about them going to meet with the king because there are sensitivities that they feel needed to be taken care of.
