Laliga: Why Mbappe Got Red Card In Alaves Vs Real Madrid Ancelotti

Real Madrid assistant coach, Davide Ancelotti, has claimed that Kylian Mbappes red card was a result of the fouls he suffered against Alaves.

Davide, who took charge of the LaLiga game in the place of his suspended father, also revealed Mbappe apologized to his team-mates.

The Frenchman was shown a straight red card for a reckless challenge in the first half of Madrids nervy 1-0 win on Sunday.

The visitors scored the only goal of the game in the 34th minute, thanks to a sublime finish from Eduardo Camavinga.

But Mbappe was sent off in the 38th minute, after a VAR check, for his high tackle on midfielder, Antonio Blanco.
