Laliga: Valencia Manager Lavishes Praise On Sadiq After Maiden Goal

Valencia manager, Carlos Corberan is expecting big things from Umar Sadiq after the forwards maiden goal for the club.

Sadiq scored on his full debut as Valencia scraped past Ourense 2-0 in their Copa del Rey clash on Tuesday night.

The Nigeria international netted Los Ches second goal of the night 12 minutes from time.

Corberan showered encomium on the forward after the game.

"Sadiq has shown that he lives close to the goal, he has achieved an individual move that has given him an important goal, and I am sure that it will give him confidence, which is important to continue helping him in that aspect," he said.
