Laliga: Corberan Happy With Sadiqs Display On Valencia Debut

Valencia manager, Carlos Corberan has kind words for Umar Sadiq following the forwards debut for the Spanish club.

Sadiq made his maiden appearance for the Los Ches in Tuesday nights 2-0 Copa del Rey victory over Eldense.

Corberan, who recently switched Sky Bet Championship club, West Bromwich Albion, for Valencia, praised the Nigeria international for his exemplary attitude.

"From day one he Sadiq has come with the necessary attitude and mentality to play for Valencia CF, Corberan told reporters after the game.

Whoever comes must come with that commitment and that intention to help. Today was a first step where he has shown that attitude necessary for this moment."
