A 57-year-old Durban soccer coach and spiritual leader who was arrested for allegedly raping young boys in the Waterloo area in North Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, is expected to appear in the Verulam Regional Court tomorrow on Monday following his first appearance on August 19.
This comes after one of the boys he coaches informed his parents that the man drugged and raped him.
His parents then brought it to the attention of other parents who questioned their children.
Reports indicate that the suspect was assaulted by the community before the police were called.
In a statement, KZN Police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says the suspect is facing five counts of rape.
