Kwara State has secured the hosting rights for this years Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, making it a prime destination for filmmakers from across Nigeria and beyond.
The event will be held at the state-of-the-art Sugar Factory Film Studios, a recent addition to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaqs creative industry infrastructure.
The BON Awards, Nigerias longest-running and traveling film industry award, has been held in various states across the country over the past 16 years. This years event in Ilorin is scheduled for Sunday, November 24th.
Seun Oloketuyi, founder of BON Awards, expressed excitement about Kwara hosting the event. He highlighted the opportunity for the state to showcase its welcoming atmosphere and enabling infrastructure to over 500 Nollywood stars who will be attending the event.
