Kvaratskhelia, Dembele Strike To Extend Psg's Ligue 1 Lead With Monaco Win

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia netted his first goal for Paris Saint-Germain, while Ousmane Dembele continued his red-hot form with a brace as the Ligue 1 leaders cruised to a 4-1 victory over Monaco on Friday.

Vitinha gave PSG an early lead, but Denis Zakaria quickly equalised for the visitors at the Parc des Princes.

Kvaratskhelia restored the advantage early in the second half with a sublime finish, marking his maiden goal since arriving from Napoli last month for 70 million.

Dembele, the league's top scorer, then put the game beyond doubt, netting twice to bring his tally to 16 goals this season-eight of them coming in his last three matches.

The result leaves PSG 13 points clear at the top of the table ahead of Marseille's trip to Angers on Sunday, while Monaco sit third, 16 points behind the leaders.
