Kogi Electoral Commission Expresses Readiness For Lg Polls

The Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission, KOSIEC says it is fully ready for the local government election slated for 19th October 2024.

The Chairman of the Commission, Mamman Nda Eri, stated this when he received in audience the Kogi State Executive of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in his office in Lokoja.

Eri assured all political parties participating in the local government election of an equal, fair and just playing field for all contestants.

He said the Commissions mandate is to make sure that the outcome of the election represents the wishes of Kogites irrespective of political affiliations.

All that is needed for a successful exercise has been provided and distributions of non-sensitive materials would commence soon.
