Kimmich Commits To Bayern Until 2029 With New Contract Extension

Bayern Munich have confirmed that Joshua Kimmich has extended his contract with the club until 2029, securing his future in Bavaria for another four years.
The German international's previous deal was set to expire at the end of the season, but he has now committed to remaining at Bayern long-term.
Kimmich explained his decision by stating that Bayern provides the best environment to achieve my sporting goals. He added, Theres currently no better combination of teammates, coaching staff, and club environment for me to achieve maximum success. I feel at home here, and Im not finished yet.
The 30-year-old midfielder had hinted at his contract extension after Bayern's 2-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday, a result that secured their place in the Champions League quarterfinals.
Despite previous speculation about his departure, Kimmich has found his best form under Vincent Kompany, playing every minute of the Bundesliga season before a minor injury sidelined him in February.
