Kefilwe Mabote on seeking God

The digital creator, entrepreneur , author and reality TV star is known for displaying her life of luxury and opulence on her social media pages.

She is currently appearing in Season 3 of the Netflix reality show Young, Famous African . However, it appears that she is stepping away from the kind of life she depicted on the show.

Have you ever stopped to question why certain patterns keep repeating in your life, yet no matter how hard you pray or search, the answers seem out of reach? I spent years crying out to God, seeking clarity, feeling broken and wondering what I was missing, she wrote on Instagram.

It wasnt until last year October 2023, when I made the decision to let go of all worldly distractions and pleasures, that I finally began to see the truth.

In my desperation, I sought God more intentionally than ever before, laying everything at His feet. Thats when He began to reveal things I had never understood, and it shattered me to my core.

I realised there were so many areas in my life things I thought were harmless or insignificant that were blocking my prayers and relationship with God. I pray God gives me courage to share my testimony in detail one day and leave no teaspoon behind.

God sent me a testimony

Mabote further revealed that God had sent her a testimony that opened my eyes to a reality I wasnt ready for. She added that she had unknowingly opened doors to things like idolatry, horoscopes, new age practices, unforgiveness, soul ties, traditional/cultural practices, wrong crowds, certain social media campaigns, gigs and more.

These things kept me bound without realising it, and they were tools the enemy used to keep me in bondages, Kefilwe said.
