Motsepe Foundation Championship side Milford FC are determined to make its mark on the 2025 Nedbank Cup.

The KwaZulu-Natal-based outfit are a name now known throughout the land, having eliminated Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs in the last 32 round last year. Despite their embarrassing 6-1 defeat at the hands of Stellies in the following round of 16, the Stallions galloped home having taken valuable lessons from their experience.

Since then, the clubs chairman, Dr Xanti Pupuma, has relinquished the coaching duties, having guided the side in the previous campaign and placed former Orlando Pirates academy coach Mandla Qhogi at the wheel.

Milford has also moved from being relegation strugglers to title chasers as they trail league leaders Durban City by three points in the race for promotion.

Milford has been fixtured to face Royal AM in this round of the competition however that match remains up in the air at the moment with Thwihli Thwahlas administration issues.
