Just In: I Remain In Lp, Have No Plans To Defect To Apc Gov Otti

UMUAHIA - Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has debunked rumours that he is perfecting plans to dump the Labour Party and defect to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The governor declared that he remains a member of the LP the platform that brought him to power, and had no plans to abandon the party contrary to speculations.

Gov. Otti who spoke through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Ferdinand Ekeoma, flatly denied holding any nocturnal meeting with Gov. Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, to perfect the purported plans to join the APC.

He dismissed the purported plans to defect to the APC as a ruse, and urged members of the public to disregard it.
