Junior Springbok coach Bafana Nhleko has made several changes to the match-day squad for Sundays World Rugby U20 Championship playoff clash against Argentina.

The match will determine who finishes in fifth place at the tournament after both sides failed to qualify for the knock-out stages.

While skipper Zachary Porthen remains at tighthead prop, the front row sees Ruan Swart (prop) and Ethan Bester (hooker) brought into the starting XV.

There are changes in the loose trio, too, with JF van Heerden moving from lock to blindside flanker and Tiaan Jacobs returning at No 8.

In the backline, Tyloor Sefoor takes over the flyhalf duties to form a different halfback partnership with Asad Moos. Other rotations in the backline include Phillip-Albert van Niekerk back at the inside centre and Joel Leotlela at the right wing, while Michail Damon remains at fullback.
