Cameroons Elite One top scorer, Jules Armand Kooh, is set to join Tunisian powerhouse Club Africain on a three-year contract.
The 24-year-old forward has been a standout performer for Astres of Douala, where he found the back of the net an impressive 24 times across all competitions in the 2023/2024 season, showcasing his knack for scoring in clutch moments.
His prolific scoring has drawn interest from several Cameroonian clubs, including Cotonsport and Dynamo de Douala, but he has chosen to take his talents to the Tunisian Ligue Professionelle 1.
Koohs footballing journey began at Savannah before he made a name for himself at Avion Academy in Douala. After stints with Stade Renard and a return to Avion, he rejoined Astres de Douala in 2022. His breakout season in 2023 saw him clinch the golden boot, outshining favorites like Katche Boris and Boris Mfoumou.
His outstanding performance earned him a call-up to Cameroons Indomitable Lions, first in June against Cape Verde. An alleged age forgerywhich was later proven falsesidelined the 24-year-old for the match against Angola. However, he was recalled by Marc Brys as the only home-based player in the squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in September.
