Jose Riveiro Heaps Praise On Orlando Pirates After Comeback Win Over Cape Town City

It may have been a comeback for the ages, but his sides consistency this season is what pleased Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro most, after their 2-1 Betway Premiership victory over Cape Town City on Saturday.

Pirates found themselves a goal down in the 21st minute as Haashim Domingo put the visitors ahead at Orlando Stadium.

It was a scoreline that remained unchanged for close to 50 minutes before Tshegofatso Mabasa netted the equaliser.

Still it seemed like the match was heading towards a draw, before Goodman Mosele snatched the winner in the 87th minute.

I think its clearly the key, for us during the season, during the whole season, what were achieving in terms of results, performances, the quality of these players are not in question, said Riveiro after the match.
