jobs and land appeal to president from residents of tsakane

Tsakane locals at Ekurhuleni in Gauteng and those from surrounding areas have pleaded with President Cyril Ramaphosa and Premier Panyaza Lesufi for jobs and land for farming.

Scores of residents have been attending the Gauteng leg of the Imbizo at the Tsakane Stadium.

The Imbizo, which has been led by President Ramaphosa boasts various cabinet ministers and provincial leaders who will listen to the cries of residents in an effort to improve service delivery and other challenges.

This is what residents had to say, As small businesses, Ekurhuleni is making us poorer and poorer every day. There are people who are beneficiaries here in Ekurhuleni. They always get paid every day without issues. As farmers, we want access to land for us to plough and defeat food insecurity. We as volunteers in TsaDuze would like employment opportunities. May you please help us look for job opportunities as we have helped you do door to door campaigns during the elections.
