Jaguar has faced criticism for its rebranding campaign, particularly an ad featuring no cars. However, the company has now unveiled the Type 00, a concept car that highlights its new design identity.
The Type 00 pronounced "zero zero" is not set for production, but it offers a glimpse into Jaguar's future direction. The British automaker plans to reveal its first new production car in late 2025, which will be an electric four-door GT car, likely inspired by the design elements seen in the Type 00.
The production vehicle will be the first to use Jaguar's Electric Architecture JEA, an EV-exclusive platform. The car will offer a range of up to 770 km on a full charge according to the WLTP cycle. Additionally, the vehicle will support rapid charging, adding 321 km of range in as little as 15 minutes.
