American pop star, Stefani Germanotta, aka Lady Gaga, has relished her iconic performance at the Paris Olympic Games opening ceremony.
Gaga thrilled attendees with an iconic French cabaret classic, Mon Truc en Plumes by Zizi Jeanmaire, from the base of the Eiffel Tower on Friday.
In a statement released via V, the singer recounted the efforts she and her team made to achieve the iconic performance.
She also appreciated French people for the opportunity to perform at the Olympic Games, describing it as a gift she would never forget.
I feel so completely grateful to have been asked to open the Paris @Olympics 2024 this year. I am also humbled to be asked by the Olympics organizing committee to sing such a special French song-a song to honor the French people and their tremendous history of art, music, and theatre.
