Isohsa Wins Fans In Abong Mbang Despite Defeat To Usa

Isle of Hope Sports Academy ISOHSA of Limbe won new fans on Sunday, January 18 in Abong Mbang despite their 0-1 defeat to local side Union Sportif of Abong Mbang courtesy of a late Wadkiri Haman for the host.

The Limbe based club was forced to play over an hour of the game with ten men following the dismissal of Akono Mendo Davids in the 33 minute of the game after his stray elbow caught his opponent in the face.

Despite the challenging conditions at the Abong Mbang Municipal Stadium and being down by a player, coach Mbock Maputs team dominated the game and had some of the best chances and most attempts on goal but met a brilliant Martial Meyangue on goal for Casimir Mangues team.

ISOHSA were hoping to get a win and go ahead of Bafmeng United FA who were on standby on the day and pushed for an early goal but Akono was denied by a magical save from Meyangue before Arrey Jefta put his close range effort wide.

Despite the early dominance, the USA side conjured chances of their own but on the quick counters Che Randy reacted as he has done for most of his games this season, stepping out his penalty area to deal with the situation.
