Head Coach Justine Madugu has announced a 20-player squad for the Super Falcons' upcoming international friendly against France on Saturday. The match, scheduled for the Stade Raymond Kopa in Angers, will kick off at 930 PM France time.

Key players in the squad include CAF Awards nominee and goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, defenders Osinachi Ohale and Ashleigh Plumptre, midfielders Christy Ucheibe and Jennifer Echegini, and forwards Gift Monday and Rinsola Babajide. Other notable inclusions are US-based defender Michelle Alozie, Turkey-based Oluwatosin Demehin, and midfielders Adoo Yina and Mercy Omokwo.

Also called up are Everton Ladies' Toni Payne, as well as Rofiat Imuran and Shukurat Oladipo, who both impressed at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia in September.

Unfortunately, Captain Rasheedat Ajibade, another CAF Awards nominee, will miss the game due to injury.

The match is important for France, who are using it as part of their preparation for the 2024 UEFA Women's Nations League and the 2025 UEFA Women's Euro Championship in Switzerland. For the Super Falcons, it is a crucial opportunity to test a new squad ahead of the 2025 Womens Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
