Zimbabwe will be without Brendan Galloway when they take on Kenya and Cameroon in the opening two qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 28-year-old defender was included in Michael Nees squad for the upcoming two encounters in Kampala after starting the first three games of the Championship season for Plymouth.
However, Galloway sat out the 1-0 defeat to Stoke on Saturday due to a hamstring injury and has been forced to withdraw from the national team.
The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) confirmed that the former England youth international will not travel to Uganda for the start of the Warriors AFCON qualifying campaign.
Nees side will face the Harambee Stars on September 6 before going up against the Indomitable Lions four days later. Both Group J matches will take place at the Mandela National Stadium in the Ugandan capital.
