The incoming president of theChartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria CIIN, Mrs Yetunde Ilori, has said that the Institute will leverage technology to deliver insurance education, promote professionalism, and build expertise in niche areas when she assumes office.
At a press briefing in Lagos, Ilori summarized her agenda with the acronym EPIC, which stands for Education, Professionalism, Institutional Recognition, and Capacity Building.
Ilori, who is the former Director-General of the Nigerian Insurers Association, NIA, said she hopes to enhance educational programs, foster innovation, promote ethical practices, and strengthen collaborations with regulators and stakeholders, adding that the Institute will leverage technology to deliver insurance education, promote professionalism, and build expertise in niche areas.
The agenda also includes establishing a credible awards program, strengthening the CIIN secretariat, and providing internship opportunities, expressing confidence in achieving the ambitious goals, citing the Institutes commitment to excellence and the support of its members.
