The late AKA s family kept his memory alive as they celebrated what would have been the rappers 37th birthday.

AKA was gunned down outside Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban KwaZulu Natal in February 2023. His friend, Chef Tebello Tibz Motsoane, was also killed in that tragic incident.

Kairo Forbes, the rapper's daughter, joined grandmother Lynn Forbes and AKA's girlfriend, award-winning rapper Nadia Nakai , for an intimate birthday celebration.

The gathering was not just a commemoration but also a testament to the enduring spirit of family and love that defines AKA's lasting impact.
