The All Progressives Congress, APC, Imo State chapter, has finally made public names of its candidates that will fly the party flag in the September 21, 2024, local government elections.
It said the names have been submitted to the Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC).
In a press statement issued by its State publicity secretary, Cajetan Duke, he informed members and the general public that the primaries for the nomination of chairmanship and Councilor candidates have been concluded.
Duke said: Any information circulating about harmonization to the list by any person or group, regardless of their standing in our party, should be disregarded and discountenanced.
Our party is committed to upholding a transparent and credible electoral process, as assured by the leader of our party, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.
