I'm Very Selfish - Eric Chelle Reacts To Leaving Mc Oran For Super Eagles

Valenciennes FC legend, Eric Chelle, has openly expressed his gratitude to Algerians and MC Oran, as he takes charge of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Soccernet.ng reports.

The former Mali boss was tempted by the offer to lead the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations champions following the announcement by the Nigeria Football Federation last week.

The 47-year-old left the club on a high note, with his team defeating USM Setif with a difficult 1-nil victory which sent them to the quarter-final of the Algeria Cup.

Speaking after the clash, Chelle candidly described his decision as selfish but emphasised that the opportunity to manage a team like Nigeria was too big to overlook.
