A 33-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after he went to the Homestead school where his wife, who is a police officer, is assigned to and threatened to kill her, authorities said.
According to his arrest report, Stephano Alfred and the victim have been married for 11 years and have two children in common.
Homestead police said the officer left her marital home on Oct. 12 after a verbal altercation with her husband, and she and their children have been staying at a local hotel.
According to the report, Alfred pulled his car into the school parking lot next to the victim's marked police vehicle on Tuesday morning and blocked her from exiting her car.
Police said he then began yelling and cursing at his wife, leading her to pull forward so she could exit her car.
