Super Eagles and Atalanta forward, Ademola Olajade Lookman, has revealed the role his mother played in making sure he grew into the footballer he is today, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 26-year-old reached great heights for club and country last season, leading the Super Eagles to the AFCON 2023 final alongside lifting the UEFA Europa League with Atalanta.
After scoring a hat-trick in the final, the former RB Leipzig man celebrated the special moment with his mother and his childhood coach. In a recent interview with Lequipe, Lookman revealed the sacrifices his Superwoman played in getting him to the top.
Lookmans stellar performances have seen his reputation grow as he was nominated for the Ballon dOr and is a frontrunner for the CAF Player of the Year award.
