Rand Merchant Bank RMB played a key role in structuring two major transactionsa 439 million dual-currency syndication and a 1.2 billion bond issuancedemonstrating strong investor confidence in IHSs future.

RMB leads dual-currency syndication to expand IHSs funding base

RMB acted as the sole Initial Mandated Lead Arranger, Bookrunner, and Coordinator for IHSs 439 million five-year bullet facility. The deal, structured in both South African rand ZAR and U.S. dollars USD, helped IHS diversify its funding mix while strengthening its balance sheet.

IHS secures 1.2 billion bond refinancing

In a separate deal, RMB served as Joint Global Coordinator, Bookrunner, and Dealer Manager for IHSs 1.2 billion Rule 144A/Regulation S bond issuance. The companys first bond issuance in three years, the move refinanced debt maturing in 2026 and 2027, extending IHSs debt maturity profile to seven years.
