Iheanacho Has Not Performed Sevilla Confirms Possible Exit

Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho could leave Spanish La Liga club Sevilla FC during the current January transfer window according to club manager Garca Pimienta.

The 28-year-old has made 11 appearances for Sevillistas and scored just three goals since joining the club from English Premier League outfit Leceister City ahead of the current season.

If he improves what we have, there are no problems. I dont know why some players fit in better with a club or an environment than others, Pimienta said on Diario de Sevilla .

I dont know if Kelechi will stay until the end of the season. There have been offers for him, he is established in England and Im sure he wants to play more. I understand that he wants to leave.

Pimienta also pointed out that the former Manchester City star has failed to meet expectations at the seven-time UEFA Europa League winners.
