ifp pledges to boost economy in government of national unity

Inkatha Freedom Party IFP leader, Velenkosini Hlabisa, has reaffirmed the partys commitment to revitalizing South Africa's struggling economy through its role in the government of national unity.

Speaking at the IFP's 50th anniversary celebration in KwaMzimela, KwaZulu-Natal, where the party was founded by the late Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi in 1975, Hlabisa emphasized the partys dedication to prioritizing citizens needs.

" Our role, as we mark the new chapter of 50 years and above, we are going to focus in uplifting our economy that is not growing, to make sure the people of South Africa once again get an opportunity of a growing economy, that is going to create job opportunities and make life, and not a burden. The IFP is going to champion these issues as we are going to be working towards the national dialogue ," he said.
