Victor Osimhen has revealed that joining Turkish heavyweight, Galatasaray in a late summer move was his decision.
Speaking to Turkish media, TRT Spor, Osimhen, 25, disclosed that he could have stayed at Napoli amid the challenges, however, he made a decision favourable to him.
I had plans to stay there and wait for three or four months and leave in January, but I think for me it was fair also to stay there because I wouldnt let anyone decide for me, he said.
The Nigerian international stated that he eventually joined Galatasaray because the manager, Okan Buruk was able to convince him via the phone.
When I received the call from the Galatasaray coach, it was really convincing.
