Singer, Korede Bello, has explained why he had to leave the Don Jazzy-led Mavins Records label in 2021. He said he was beginning to feel like a money-spinning product.
He made the revelation in an interview with Hip TV, adding that he needed time for introspection.
Korede Bello, who had hits such as Godwin , Mungo Park , Romantic , Belloved , among others, joined Mavins Records, and left seven years later.
Why I leftHe told KimOprah, the Hip TV host: I was at a season in my life where I needed to metamorphose, to explore my inner worth, do introspection, understand myself, understand meaning more, and reconnect to my why.
Because I was at a stage where I started to feel like a product that is just there (at Mavins Records) to make money.
