A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Segun Sowunmi, has attributed the partys crisis to President Bola Tinubus appointment of Nyesom Wike as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory FCT.
Sowunmi stated this on Wednesday during an appearance on Channels Televisions Politics Today , arguing that the appointment is one too many for the main opposition party.
He said, President Tinubu has no business appointing our member into his cabinet without talking to us. He had no business taking Nyesom Wike from our party and appointing him.
The former Ogun PDP governorship candidate also said that former President Olusegun Obasanjo consulted with opposition parties when forming a government of national unity.
